ya know what?

If it really came from God and it is the will of God. Whatever happens.. it shall be done. So why the heck do these people quote He was an “atheist” before. He was a “Catholic” before? kulang na lang He was an INC or ADD before. -_-

If he is truly a man of God, he doesn’t have to compromise like this. He doesn’t have to tell everyone. “Oh I was an atheist.” Because surely. If its the will of God. it will be done.

nah just a thought 😛

hayy naku sabi ko na nga ba eh.

hay naku sabi ko na nga ba eh.. di pa rin ako titigilan nang miyembro nang black church na ito.

anyway i want to share something insightful to all of you. you be the judge.

How Do I Recognize A Cult?

Practically every cult has certain characteristics that can tell the careful observer that something is wrong. (discernment ang tawag dito)

For instance, what does a group think about Jesus? Jesus Christ is God, Lord of all, the only source of salvation. Invariably, a cult will put something else on an equal footing with Christ. It will have a ritual that is equal to Christ, or it will have a doctrine equal to Christ, or it will have a leader who is equal to Christ. In other words, even if it acknowledges Christ as Savior, it will say that you need something else before you can get into heaven .(hhmm.. sino kaya? yung founder nila? yung mga leaders nila? hmmm) Cults teach that salvation comes through Christ, plus their little unique way. Some cults do not acknowledge Christ at all. They may make Him coequal with their religious teachers or with certain great men of history. The quickest way to recognize a cult is by its treatment of Jesus.

Second, cults frequently attempt to instill fear into their followers. The followers are taught constantly that salvation comes only through the cult. “If you leave us, you will lose your salvation,” (oo pag umalis ka daw doon sa church na yun, di na daw bukas ang langit para sa iyo) they say.

The third area has to do with the exaltation of the leader of the cult. (SAPOL!) Cults often center around a man or woman who is trying to gain power, money, or influence from manipulating people. This appears to be the case in the Unification church with Sun Myung Moon. In the Children of God, Moses David Berg is an autocratic leader. In the People’s Temple, Jim Jones drew attention to himself and asked his followers to die with him. A true leader who serves Jesus Christ has one goal, and that is to exalt and manifest Jesus. When someone says he has unique insight into God or is the special one that God has anointed to reach the world, you are dealing with cultic behavior.

A final mark of a cult is the unwillingness of the leaders to let the people grow up. (pastor nga nagsasabing dapat unahin ninyo ang church bago family ninyo, or pagaaral ninyo or trabaho ninyo!) A true shepherd will do everything he can to bring Christian people to maturity as quickly as he can. He will not seek to avoid necessary teaching, nor will he try to keep people from maturity. Many cults perpetuate spiritual dependence so that their followers lose the ability to make independent, rational decisions. Often techniques of brainwashing are used to create robot-like behavior.

Although there are other marks of cultic behavior, these seem to be the ones that stand out.

O ano? Cult na ba? Cult na CULT!.

TIGILAN NINYO NA AKO!

This “Black Church”

I was raised as a catholic and I’ve heard rumors about saying this is the black church. When my mom married my other dad, we became inglesia, my mom kept the faith and again I’ve heard rumors about this. When it was my time, I decided to be a Christian and was led to this “Church.”

I’ve been to three churches (different beliefs) but I must say and I am so dissapointed. That the “Christian Church” I’ve led to is really the one I can call a “Black Church.”

Why?

1. They hurt people who stand for the truth.

2. When someone leave them, they say that the heaven is already close to them.

3. It has been years.. since I left and yet they kept “bothering me” and “cursing me.” (And its so sad that even I am not active in my blog anymore, they kept doing that.)

4. They are like the founder’s zombies. Whatever the leaders will say, they will do. they are brainwash.

and so this “Black church” I conclude (though its suppose be a christian) still kept bothering me.

Guess what? I left the church and I am not even 1% cursed. (and the heaven’s door is still open wide to me! as  my Christian friend always remind me. “God is full of MERCY and GRACE”

I’ll quote someone who said this from one of the members of this church.

God is a just God.
In the end of time we will all face God
And we will all be accountable of everything we have done.

So start praying you hypocrites. Members of this “Church” because GOD is a JUSTICE GOD and in the END time. We will be all accountable of everything we’ve done. Including you and your leaders.

I’m outta of here. I have my own life to live. I have done what God is telling me to do. My Job is done here.

P.S. if you don’t  see some of the posts, it means I made them private. Let’s see if these “Black Church (Christian) members” will still bother me.

Nurse

Nurse
Submitted by Paul Nickerson – Paul is not a Nurse, but his Mother , now retired, was for many years. Paul found this poem tucked away, in a small photo album belonging to his mother.

It was a game we all played as a child
Then some of us made it a dream worthwhile
More to learn, not as much time to share
Because in our hearts we really cared

We have worked the late night hours
While others slept away
Handles a doctor’s many moods
Then found time to pray

Critical moments that remain as memories
Some sad – then some are good
Then there are the tragedies
That will never be understood

We see a newborn baby smile
As we watch another slip away
And that completes the circle
The price for life’s that paid

Sometimes not appreciated
When just a hug will do
We are proud of our profession
A gift from me to you

My first impression: Tanabata Festival

Tanabata is a Japanese star festival. In Japan, Tanabata festival is usually held on July 7. Tanabata celebrates the meeting of two stars; the Orihime (Vega) star and the Hikoboshi (Altair) star. According to legend, the Milky Way universe, a river made from stars that crosses the sky, separates these lovers, and they are allowed to meet only once a year. This special day is the seventh day of the seventh lunar month of the lunisolar calendar.

It was my first time seeing this kind of event. At first, I thought.. ah it was another of those kind of festivals. But when we came to the place where the event was happening… I couldn’t help but to admire how passionate japanese people are. Imagine.. they write something in the paper for wishes. Hoping that their gods will grant their wishes.

Where in.. as a christian, you don’t have to do these things.. just ask to God whatever you want, whatever you need. Minsan kasi nakakalimutan nang mga christians how fortunate they are.

But I really love how these japanese people celebrate their festivals.. so colorful, so passionate and so peaceful. 🙂 di tulad sa pinas 😛

I opened my Bible and it said…

galing ni God 😀

Opened up my bible and it said:

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand delivers me.  The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O LORD, endures forever.  Do not forsake the work of your hands.

A particular spot

when I was in philippines, whenever i am down or upset.. i have this particular place to go to. here in where i am now, i found a place whenever i want to think, it was an abandoned temple. the place itself was quiet but there are several people walking at the road.

I guess I need a place like this to unload some of my feelings. you see, in my job i do not just take care of patients. i do share the bible as well and whenever i share the bible, they pour out their problems on me and sometimes, i just can’t take it anymore. so i go to this place. to unload it and pray and talk to god.

I feel so lucky to find a place where i can worship god in spirit and in truth.
